Having fun in the ocean is what Hawaii is best known for, and the surf at
Kailua Beach is just right for kids - not too big, but not too lame either.
We had bought some cheap boogie boards ... but ended up breaking
four of 'em from our extreme rides! Body surfing also works ... and
something new this year was Long Boarding. This was not only a ton of fun
paddling up/down the beach, but also surfing with it -
impressive how quickly the kids picked it up.

Nick only had a few days in Hawaii, but whooped it up strong
