Fortunately, it was the same weekend as the annual Mission Ridge Dummy Downhill,
which Kurt previously entered with Wendy the Pooh.
But in 2011, he "went big" as I flew in from Colorado The Incredible HULK!!!
This ended up winning the Judge's Choice
and while Mike & Jamie's Rastafarian Rob didn't do so well, Matt & Bryce's
Frosty the Snowman won with
the longest leap - free Mission Ridge lift ticket next year!
There were a number of other entertaining dummies with the most awesome being the giant Avatar Dragon from the Ski School. Major bonus points for Kurt's friends as they got the best parking spot for their RV's so great fun hanging out after a day of skiing and the Dummy Downhill with them along with my Mom, Myke & Li-Ming, Kurt & Mary, and Mack & Tucker. Oh yeah, the skiing was outrageous - great base, fresh snow every night, and Kurt knows Mission Ridge like the back of his hand. We did a bit of hiking for some serious untouched powder, and even in the traffic'ed areas, Kurt knew all sorts of secret stashes.
