We have two peach trees in our backyard that
every couple of years yield a bumper crop. Fresh, tree-picked peaches
are the best (and juiciest) thing around ... but critters like 'em also.
I have a separate page that shows
birds and
foxes and
wasps going after 'em ... and even
squirrels enjoy 'em as seen below ... although this guy wasn't too smart
as it was several weeks before they ripened - D'OH!
In 2008, the peach squirrels were much more aggressive!
