Here is the actual count of images provided by the xmas_webcam program for December/2002. Note that this includes not only when the image was "changed" by toggling the lights, but also when people requested an webcam update without changing the lights. However, if there was allready an image recently available, then there was no need to slurp another one from the camera - otherwise, this number would have been higher, especially when things got frentic! As previousely noted, we had a "blowout" on the logging the evening of December 24th after being Slashdotted. Other than that, this data correllated exactly with the raw Apache logs.
