Alek's 40th Birthday Party Ideas

Alek turned 40 in 2003 (how did that sneak up on me?!? ;-) and some friends and family helped me celebrate hitting the big 4-0 birthday. The Party was a great success - thank you everyone for attending. Here's some some misc. 40th birthday party ideas along with some pictures/stories (shot by my friend Jon) from it:

My family showed up and did a complete birthday surprise - the last time they were all around for my birthday
As part of the 40th birthday party, we had a 1960's quiz.
Their best birthday idea was a permit for overnight camping (the next day) at the Boulder Field.
So I left the next morning to (successfully) climb Longs Peak with my brothers and father.
Hulk Lemon Drop Martini's were a big party hit, so we later shot some picture of Hulk Drop - the Big Green Guy jumping from the roof of my house!
And last but not least, here's a few pictures from the birthday party of family and friends.

18 months later, I threw a fun little surprise birthday party for my wife Wendy, the world-traveller.
