Celiac Disease

My two sons have Celiac Disease which means they have to be very careful what they eat - no gluten at all. So it's a real treat when we go to events such as Boulder Country Celiacs Summer Picnic which was held on Sunday, July 27th, 2008 in nearby Longmont - they can eat anything they want! Here's a few pictures - hats off to the organizers for a great job!

Here's a pictures of me and my boys later that evening clowning around with some "Hertz Rental Car Sunglasses" - Dirk (left) is Agent Gold, Kyle (right) is Agent Silver, and I'm Agent Bronze - gotta love the imagination of kids. The shirts are from the University of Maryland Center for Celiac Research which is engaged in leading-edge medical research to find a cure.
I've raised tens of thousands of dollars for them with my Christmas Lights - yes, Christmas Lights - go figure! ;-)
