During the holiday season, I get a variety of Emails from people about my
Controllable
Christmas Lights for Celiac Disease. One particularly nice
note was this one:
My father was diagnosed with Celiac disease about 2 years ago. It
was just as hard on my Mom as it was on my Dad, she had to totally
relearn how to cook! And where she lived, she had absolutely no support group,
no resources, no recipes, NOTHING. So I spent 1 week full time around
the clock (taking time to sleep) and found recipes off the internet
for her. I put together a 250 page book full of gluten free recipes
for my father. I think it saved her sanity. And just this
Thanksgiving, she has told me that she has shared that cookbook with a
half dozen other people who have come to her in tears feeling like
there is nothing they can eat and in dispair. She says it has helped
them to see 250 pages of recipes that they CAN eat. Since the recipes
were taken off the internet I can not accept money for them, but I
would be willing to offer you a copy of this book if it would help
you? I'm sure it must be really hard to have children with Celiac.
We thought my 2nd son might have it but he tested negative. *WHEW*
The celiac diet is VERY expensive!
God bless you. Merry Christmas!
